  • The Benevolence Fund
    Mission:  to assist people in need from beyond the parish community.
    How to Help:  make a donation. (box located near entrance to narthex)

  • Oregon Food Bank Barrel Project
    Mission:  "to eliminate hunger and it's root cause - because no one should be hungry".
    How to Help:  
               1) donate non-perishable food. (barrels located in parish hallway)
               2)  Volunteer

  • Pennies & Prayers 
    Mission:  a project of the commission for Orthodox Mission & Evangelism (C.O.M.E.) which makes Orthodoxy more visible and provides opportunities for inactive Orthodox to deepen their faith.
    How to Help:  get a canister then from the beginning of Great Lent to Pentecost, fill it with loose change.

  • The St. John's Giving Tree
    Mission:  to provide assistance to individuals & families within the parish community.
    How to Help:  pick an apple off the tree (located next to Father Theodore's office) & deposit your donation in the box.

  • Orthodox Mission Support to Albania 
    Providing support for OCMC Missionary efforts in Albania

 

  • Sewing Circle
    Mission:  to provide garments and quilts for those in need. (currently working on Crib Quilts for the Pregnancy Resource Center) 
    How to Help:  
                1)  participate in weekly meetings &/or ongoing projects
                2)  provide financial support for fabrics & other sewing  
                     supplies

  • The Comforters
    Mission:  a lay ministry to the people of our parish.
    How to Help:  
                1)  Make a meal
                2)  Visitation
                3)  Prayer Group
