Sunday School
& Theology 101
    
Sunday School is held following our coffee hour which immediately follows the Liturgy.  At the same time as Sunday School, Father Theodore holds an adult discussion group titled 'Theology 101'. Everyone is cordially invited to attend one or the other.

     Children are encourage weekly to contribute to the collection of:

  • Coins for the Mission to Albania
  • Cans for the Food Bank

Myrrh Bearer's - Our Women's Group
     Meet at church on the second Tuesday of the Month, from 6:30pm - 9pm.  For additional information contact Cindy Trumpower or visit the Myrrh Bearer's Page


The Comforters
    
A lay ministry to help the people of our parish by providing meals, visitation, and/or prayer depending on their needs.  For additional information contact Sandy Duchow-Pressley.


Sewing Circle
     To provide garments and quilts for those in need and provide a fun opportunity for service & fellowship.  Bring your sewing supplies & join us Wednesdays from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Anyone interested in learning to sew, knit, or crochet is also welcome.  For more information please contact Susan Payne or Elaine Crossley.

  • Currently working on Crib Quilts for the Pregnancy Resource Center.


Bible Study - Adult Education Ministry with Father Theodore

Venerable Elderly of our Parish - Our Seniors' Group
     A ministry to the Senior Citizen of our parish.

Young Adult Group 
    
The Young Adult's Group is a Pan-Orthodox ministry for people ages 18 and older. We meet twice a month for a potluck dinner and discussion followed by Small Compline. People who are interested can email our list server at portland.orthodox@gmail.com


Greek Orthodox Youths of America (GOYA)
    
GOYA is the ministry to teenagers of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.  Grades 9-12.  Contact Dn. Innocent Duchow-Pressley for more information.


Greek Orthodox Junior Youths of America (Jr. GOYA)
    
GOYA is the ministry to teenagers of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.  Grades 6-8.  Contact Chuck Trumpower or Catherine Whitton for more information.


Little Lambs, Hope and Joy
    
Little Lambs is the ministry to Nursery/Preschool age children, HOPE (Hellenic Orthodox Primary Education) is the ministry to Kindergarten through 2nd grade children; and the Junior Orthodox Youth, or JOY, is the ministry to 3rd through 5th grade.  They gather monthly for an evening full of activities, dinner, and fellowship.  For more information about Little Lambs, Hope, & Joy contact
